Foundation News

National - DV Safe Phone

DV Safe Phone collects, refurbishes, and distributes mobile phones to victims of domestic violence through a trusted network of more than 430 partner agencies across Australia.

These phones provide a vital lifeline for those in crisis - and the program relies entirely on donated devices to continue its work.

Autopact is proud to support this initiative, with all 33 of our dealerships serving as official phone drop-off locations. In just the past five months, we've collected and donated 90 phones, helping ensure more people have access to the support and safety they need.

Sunshine Coast - RISE2

The Autopact Foundation is proud to partner with the RISE2 Foundation, a social impact initiative of Coast2Bay Housing on the Sunshine Coast.

Cricks on the Coast has supported Coast2Bay for over a decade through various fundraising efforts to assist those facing housing stress and homelessness.

In 2025, RISE2 aims to complete four new homes for individuals and families in need. To help achieve this goal, our Sunshine Coast dealer group and the Autopact Foundation will contribute over $50,000 in the next 12 months. This funding will fully fit out two homes, supporting RISE2's mission to make a lasting impact.

Cricks Tweed - Tweed Palliative Care

Cricks Tweed, in partnership with the Autopact Foundation, has generously donated $10,000 to Tweed Palliative Support's Wedgetail Retreat - a vital community service providing compassionate end-of-life care for individuals and families facing serious illness.

This funding will help sustain the essential work carried out at Wedgetail Retreat, which offers a peaceful and supportive environment for people with life-limiting conditions. As a community-funded initiative, the retreat depends on local donations and support to continue delivering its invaluable care.

Melbourne - You Matter

Our Melbourne dealer group is proud to support You Matter in 2025 - a charity helping women and children impacted by domestic violence. So far this year, You Matter has delivered 13 Havens of Hope, supporting 13 women and 23 children through 10 specialist partner agencies.

Thanks to the generosity of Autopact's Melbourne Dealers, You Matter can now deliver two additional havens each month - supporting 24 families over the next year.

Together, we're creating lasting change and helping build brighter futures for those who need it most.

Western Queensland Floods

In March, South West Queensland was devastated by severe flooding, resulting in the largest livestock losses in the region's history. With little to no warning, many farmers and local residents were left with no time to relocate their families or animals to safety.

To support recovery efforts, we partnered with the Dubbo Rotary Club - who generously matched our donation - bringing the total contribution to $20,000. These funds are helping affected communities begin to restore their farmland and rebuild their lives.

We're proud to play a small role in supporting those impacted by this unprecedented disaster.

Sunshine Coast - Fuel 4 School

Every day on the Sunshine Coast, around 9,000 children and young people attend school without lunch.

Local charity Inclusive Kids is working to change that by providing nutritious dried fruit packs to students in need. These simple yet impactful snacks help ensure no child goes through the school day hungry.

Over the past year, Cricks VW Sunshine Coast has proudly supported this initiative, helping deliver more than 5,000 fruit packs to local students.

We're honoured to play a part in supporting the health and wellbeing of young people in our community.

Rockhampton Drive for a mate

For the month of November, DC Motors, Rockhampton Auto Group, and Rockhampton Mazda supported Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia through their “Drive for a Mate” campaign. Through donating funds for every test drive taken and vehicle sold for the month, our Rockhampton group was able to raise $11,380 for the charities research and support programs!

Cricks Highway & Cancer Council Queensland

Cricks Highway Group have launched their partnership with Cancer Council Queensland. The dealership have donated a van to CCQ’s Transport to Treatment program, which will provide 2,500+ trips annually for cancer patients located in regional areas, transportation to their medical treatments.

Sunshine Coast and Urban Angels

During December, Autopact’s Sunshine Coast & Brisbane dealers launched "Buy a Car, Support a Family" campaign in support of local Urban Angles Community Kitchen - a platform that provides tasty, nutritious meals to those who need support. Through this campaign, the Foundation’s donation enabled UACK to provide an additional 3,500 meals to Sunshine Coast families in need this Christmas.

In 2014, the Autopact Foundation founder’s Garry Crick and John Eastham set out to support kids and cancer in their local community. Over the past 10 years, the Foundation has supported numerous charities over the Eastern Seaboard including the Ronald McDonald House, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Bloomhill Cancer Care, DV Safe Phones, Pink Angels Dubbo, and the Australian Red Cross. The Autopact Foundation collects money from every new and used vehicle sold, and works closely with our dealerships to support charities in their local communities.
